My Story
How my journey started...
The Biggest decision of my life.
A few years ago, I was working in corporate finance, building my career as a Chartered Certified Accountant while juggling deadlines, responsibilities and the constant pressure to keep everything moving.
On paper, everything looked fine.
In reality, the long hours and relentless pressure eventually led to complete burnout.
At 47, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life.
I left the corporate world and started my own accounting practice.
… And it changed the way I thought about accounting.
I realised that business owners don’t just need someone to prepare accounts and file tax returns.
They need someone they can actually talk to. Someone who helps them understand their numbers, answers questions throughout the year and provides more financial guidance as their business grows.
That’s the kind of accounting practice I wanted to build.
